The Ladies Golf Club has been in existence since the days of golf in Pitlochry
on the old nine-hole course now lying under Faskally Loch.
At present there are approximately 70 playing members. There is normally a maximum
of 50% playing in the medal competitions throughout the season.
Ladies medal day is a Tuesday from April to September with the alternative medal
day on a Sunday. With an extensive medal fixture list in operation, there is
also an opportunity to compete in matchplay tournaments within the summer season.
Scratch and handicap formats are in operation and further information can be
obtained from the Ladies Secretary of the Golf Club. A winter league is run
from November to March for the more determined golfers.
As a member of the Perth and Kinross Ladies County Golf Association, the Ladies
Golf Club participate in annual inter course matches with other Ladies GC Sections
and also in competitions such as the Ladies Scratch League.
