Mark Pirie - your local PGA Professional
Having taken over the head professional position in 2003, Mark Pirie is only the 4th PGA Professional to have been employed in Pitlochry since the golf course opened in 1909.
Mark has been in the golfing business for over 20 years and brings a wealth of experience to Pitlochry Golf. Having qualified to be a full PGA member in 1997, he has continually kept up to date with the latest PGA developments, courses and teaching techniques, and is always on the look-out for extra qualifications to improve his skills.
Mark has had varied success in playing competitions on the assistants tournament circuit and more recently on the main Tartan Tour. However, he is now concentrating his time and efforts into helping to develop Pitlochry Golf into one of Scotland’s leading golfing tourist destinations.
Mark takes lessons both on the range and the course, he is on site for advice on the next set of clubs, or that necessary equipment upgrade – be sure to pop into the shop to speak with him or see him soon!
