Pitlochry Golf, since 1909 has offered visitors the chance to play one of Perthshire’s most visually stunning Golf Courses and iconic Golf Tournaments. The week comprises competition and events both on and off the course, where new friends are made and old acquaintances to catch up with.

In 2019,at the end of the 100th Highland,it was decided to commemorate the occasion,by establishing the Highland Open Golf Society.

Year after year,players return to play in the competition from all over the UK and beyond.By doing so in 2020, they will automatically become members of the Highland Open Golf Society.

Highland Gents four ball open
Cost – Highland entrants free - Visitors £20 per pair.

Monday 14th

First round 18 hole Strokeplay qualifying.
Incorporating – George Hogg (Handicap) Memorial Trophy, John “Puff” Rutherford (Scratch) Memorial Trophy and the Cameron Cup (under 21’s)

Tuesday 15th

Second round 18 hole Strokeplay qualifying

Wednesday 16th

Matchplay knockout for scratch, handicap, seniors under 65, seniors over 65, Plate 1 and 2 competitions.
Non qualifiers at this stage can compete for the “Blair Atholl” Cup – Stableford Competition at Blair Atholl Golf Course.

Thursday 17th

Matchplay Knockout for Scratch, Handicap, Seniors under 65, Seniors over 65, Plate 1 and 2.
Non qualifiers at this stage can complete for the “Bill Blair” Trophy.

Friday 18th

AM: First round of 36 hole Scratch final.
PM: Second round 18 holes of Scratch final, Handicap Final, Seniors finals and Plate 1/2 finals
All remaining competitors allowed courtesy of the course.
